M3 data-informed chart properties
Objective
Use data-informed rules and assertions to drive chart properties such as spacing, mark sizing, and other defaults based on the shape and semantics of the data.
Deliverables
- [ ] Define which chart properties should become data-informed rather than purely static defaults.
- [ ] Use assertions and chart evidence to drive rules for properties such as spacing and sizing.
- [ ] Separate safe data-informed defaults from behavior that should remain explicit author intent.
